Profile
Melissa has been working at UC San Diego since she graduated there as an undergraduate student. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Development with a minor in Psychology. She has extensive background and experience in student affairs and has been with Education Studies for more than half her time at the University, serving in a variety of roles. Coming from a family of educators, Melissa is continuing her family tradition, working in education and helping to serve the needs of our youth and making a difference in our education system.
Fun Fact
She played basketball at a community event with former NBA star Byron Scott. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places with her family, and volunteering with her two sons.
