Provide interpretation between American Sign Language and English for Deaf faculty members and for Deaf visiting scholars.
Beth has been working at UCSD since 2018 and has been a professional ASL/English interpreter since 1988.  She has undergraduate degrees in ASL/English Interpretation and Communication Disorders and a Master of Science in Human Service Administration.  Her interpreting experience is broad, working in Higher Education at several universities, including 11 years at Gallaudet University as a staff interpreter.  She is also a certified legal interpreter and has worked in the court system for over 25 years.  She is happy to be settled in the San Diego area and to be providing professional ASL/Eng interpretation for UC San Diego!
Beth has interpreted for many former US Presidents.
