Profile
Sherice Clarke is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education Studies. Dr. Clarke is a learning scientist who uses microgenetic discourse methodologies to study learning in and out of school.
She is currently engaged in research on teacher learning, research-practice partnerships, design-based research, and community design-based research. Before joining the faculty at UC San Diego, she was a postdoctoral fellow and research associate at the University of Pittsburgh’s Learning Research and Development Center.
Dr. Clarke received her Ph.D. in Education from the University of Edinburgh’s Moray House School of Education. In 2022, she received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award, the foundation’s most prestigious award supporting early-career faculty.
