Huilin Li

Huilin Li

Huilin is a current Ph.D. student in the Department of Education Studies at UC San Diego. Her works focusing on understanding how the whole environment children interact with impacts their early development, especially for at-risk children or children facing socio-demographic risk. She is also interested in how empowerment can improve children’s early development. Huilin earned her BM in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from Guangzhou University and her M.S. in Education from the Johns Hopkins University. Prior to arriving at UCSD, Huilin worked as a Research Assistant in the Wellbeing for Early Learning Lab at JHU. She also worked in the “Dietary Quality among Young Children” project lead by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public health.
