Naomi Lin

Naomi Lin is a Ph.D. student in the Interdisciplinary program of Education and Cognitive Science. Her work lies in applied research of cognitive and brain development of linguistically and culturally diverse young children in early education settings. Naomi’s research specifically involves music cognition and its impacts on learning and development. Prior to starting her graduate program, Naomi worked as a cognitive developmental researcher at UC San Diego, partnering with the Vista School District on a longitudinal research practice partnership project. She seeks to continuously grow as an interdisciplinary researcher, translating research to the education settings, and as a dedicated member of outreach, working with practitioners and the community.
